More Time

I am the world's worst at emailing, calling, blogging, just plain keeping in touch with people. Some people have the time to do any or all of these multiple times a day and I am lucky to do just one of them once a day. I guess the main reason is because my life isn't very exciting...I do the same things day in and day out...kinda like on the movie "Groundhog Day", I feel like that everyday. I love my job, the town we live in, our new house...I just wish I had more time to do hobby type things. I also wish I had more exciting things to tell everyone about what is going on in our lives...because there isn't much!

I am very thankful we get to go to the city this weekend...even if it is just for overnight. We haven't seen most of the family in at least a month I think it is probably closer to 2 at this point...I lose track of time so easily. I can't believe S is already 3 months old! It doesn't seem like he should be that old yet. J took him to get weighed today at the health dept and he weighed 14 lbs 2 oz! He is already wearing 6-9 month clothing...pretty soon he and E will be sharing clothes! I think he is going to be built like J, short legs and long body...where E is going to be built like me, long legs and short body.

I wish I had some updated pics to put on here but J hasn't hooked up my digital camera port yet. I could probably do it but since he likes to do things like that I just let him do it...but if he doesn't hurry up...

Hopefully our weekend will be full of excitement and I will have something to blog when we get back!

My grandpa

My family is going through a really rough time right now. My grandpa passed away last night at 9:45PM. It was kind of sudden but we were expecting it...meaning, he got sick in March and the Dr found a growth on his kidney that turned out to be cancer and spread to his small intestine, stomach, and back. When the Dr made the diagnosis he gave my grandpa 2 weeks to live and he lasted 5 weeks. I think my mom has taken the whole situation the hardest, she has been very emotional for the last 5 weeks, but she has been strong enough to help my grandma. My grandma is amazing! She has been so strong throughout this whole thing.
We took S to the Dr today for his well baby check up. He ended up getting 4 shots, but he did so good! He only cried for about a minute and as soon as I picked him up he nuzzled me and was fine. It just breaks my heart when my babies have to get their shots, even though I know it is what they need to stay healthy. S now weighs 12 lbs 8 oz and is 24 inches long! He is growing so fast! The Dr said he looks great. The Dr said he is also going to help us find a Dr up here, the one he suggested isn't taking new patients right now but he said he would call him and see if we could get in. I really don't want to have to drive 2 hours to go to the dr.
We also got the boys pictures taken today and they turned out great! I had a coupon for some free pictures and decided I better get it used before they told me I couldn't...even though it didn't have and expiration date on it.
